The Turf Commander, a trusted name in commercial landscaping, undertook an exciting project at the Renaissance West Community in partnership with the Renaissance West Community Initiative (RWCI). The mission: Breathe new life into the community’s playgrounds, creating a vibrant and inviting space for children and families.

The existing playgrounds had seen better days. Over the years many great memories were made, but children are tough on just about everything. Playgrounds aren't spared from that truth. Turf Commander recognized the opportunity to make a lasting impact by infusing creativity, functionality, and natural beauty into this essential community space.

The Turf Commander began by replacing the tired mulch under the play structures. Fresh, vibrant mulch not only enhances aesthetics but also provides a safe surface for kids to play on. Next, The Turf Commander reinforced the safety border around each playground. Everything was brought up to state code. In total three (3) playgrounds were renovated by The Turf Commander.
